Look closely at the image above. What is the first thing you see? Is it the rocks? Is it the lines? Or is it something entirely different? Images like life can contain depth; meaning beyond what we may have first realized.
No. 4 – Depth.
- The apparent existence of three dimensions in a picture or photograph.
- Complexity and profundity of thought
Our lives can have great complexity and struggles. What we see sometimes in the present or the foreground is a jumble of events and meanings spread out before us, like a giant boulder field.
If we can focus and look deeper, we can see the stage or background that is set before us.
There is almost always a way out or a different way to look at the obstacles in front us. It may take some scrambling over large boulders to get to the light, but the effort will be worth the challenge to see what is beyond the light.
